Kate Spade and Cashmere

I received this really cute pink and orange Kate Spade makeup bag for Christmas along with a very soft, black cashmere scarf and sweater. I love the scarf and sweater, because who doesn’t love cashmere? And I really needed the makeup bag. I won’t even say what I was carrying my makeup in before. But what I really loved the most on Christmas morning when I was opening this gift was the lovely packaging. It came in a pretty green and blue box with peach ribbon and gold writing, and finished off with pretty bold tissue paper and the signature gold seal.

What can I say, I’m a sucker for a pretty package. I could have received a giant lump of coal and I still would have been happy. Truly, presentation is everything.

I recently found out that a new Kate Spade store has opened near me in the Pentagon City Mall here in the DC Metro area. I will be sure to make a visit and check it out. In the meantime, I hope you’re enjoying your holiday. It is going to be an awesome New Year. Remember to always live well!
